Hey Bob. The last year has been an adventure for my poor Cobra. A few motors later I’ll probably have it running again this week. Then hopefully I can get a few miles on it before the Spring Meet.

Mine has a a rail (that I don’t know the name of) that attaches to the windshield. The front edge of the top slides into it. Then there are three Velcro straps for the rollbar. No support bars.

I had a local upholstery shop make one for me. I have a full width rollbar so it wasn’t too hard for them, much like a jeep. It helps with the sun and also rain. The only thing is it catches air over 65 and tugs on the windshield, which isn’t exactly the strongest part of the car. I don’t ever...

Seems like I’ve been working on mine all summer. Finally wrapped it up for now and took a ride Saturday morning. I’ve missed it.

It started out with changing front A-arm bushings and quickly escalated. Ended up rebuilding the whole front end. That’s all done but I removed the hood and hinges and I’m not sure I’ll be able to bolt them back on without lifting the body. That’ll teach me.
