The Event will be held Wednesday, April 8 through Sunday, April 12, 2026 at the Embassy Suite Hotel and Convention Center in San Marcos, TX, about 30 miles south of Austin. Each year this event grows larger and larger. We are now recognized as one of the top Cobra Events in the US!! We have drawn attendees from over 30 different states as well as Canada and Mexico.​

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUCEMENT REGARDING THE 2026 TCC SPRING MEET​


In the past some folks have registered for rooms at the Embassy Suites outside of our room block. Many of those reservations were through a 3rd party like Expedia, Priceline, Kayak, etc. In order to get the lowest price from those sites you must be pre-pay in full for all nights with no chance of a refund.

In additional those of you that are Hilton Honors members and choose to use your points or CC for your stay are not exempt for the parking fee of $20.00 per night.

Our contracted room rates give us free parking, manager's happy hour, free cook-to-order breakfast, free event registration area, and no charge for the banquet room.

Just trying to manage expectations. I will do everything I can to keep you abreast of updates as they happen.

Now go back to your desk and put your head down!

Deadline to order is TUESDAY March 2, 2026!
 
We have about 50 people that have made a hotel reservation at the Embassy Suites for the Spring Meet but have not yet registered for the event.
Please go to www.texascobraclub.org and register for the event. I have several items that I need to either pay a deposit on or purchase for the meet.
If you are not going to be able to attend please let me know and I will have your hotel reservation moved under my name so that we do not lose the room from our room block. I already have a few folks on the wait-list for a Embassy Suites room.

Due to some unscrupulous and unfair behavior of some at the Spring Meet in the past few years, this year all participants will be required to post an event decal on their windshield on their car AND tow vehicle.

It is unfair to attend the event and benefit from the amenities and not pay the registration fee. Anyone that chooses to attend and not pay will be asked to leave the event. No Second Chances!!!

The event is meant to be shared by all and enjoy by all. It cost a lot to put on the event and that cost should be shared by all. If you feel different or have any questions feel free to reach out to me.

I will be working with the parking lot team to ensure compliance. Registration will be required before parking your truck and trailer.

Movie Night at the Drive-in! Wednesday April 8th 7:00pm​

For those interested, I checked into the Stars & Stripes Drive-In Theater in New Braunfels for a possible group night.

They have a 50's Cafe, playground for kids, very clean and family-friendly.

They have two options:

1. Screen rental:

The smallest screen, holding 300 cars, starts at $1500** for the screen itself with additional fees such as the movie licensing fee (@$300 per movie). We can play any movie that is older than 4 months and is not owned or distributed by Disney/Pixar/FOX. This package does not include food, but it can be added on if you would like.


2. Discounted Movie Night:

A group rate discount. Every car would receive one military priced ticket while the remaining guests in the car would pay the normal ticketing price. We would also offer some reserved parking spots on the screen of your choice.


I think for option #1, $1800 would be stretch at this late date. we would need 90 confirmed cars at $20 a car to make it feasible. This could be an option for next year.

Option #2 would be great for this year. Doesn't matter what movie is on the screen, this would just a cruise-in, socialize and have some great food~!

Thoughts & Interest? Let me know ASAP so I can confirm.

UPDATE: I will know the movie lineup by March 31st.

JUST FYI, WEDNESDAY April 8 Cruise to Stars & Stripes Drive-In New Braunfels:

The movie sound is broadcast do you car video FM radio signal, so you will need a portable FM radio. An app won't work. Each screen has a different broadcast frequency, which will be on the screen / and probably your ticket.
